Project and Test Support

This role is based in Farnborough, Hamsphire. Candidates must be willing to commute to the office or relocate. i-neda will not consider any applications from candidates requiring work/visa sponsorship for the UK.

The Role

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team in Farnborough. Working alongside a project manager, you will be responsible for supporting customers day-to-day and managing customer delivery. You will be responsible for knowing at what stage each of your customers are at in their integration to a wide variety of i-neda services.

You will perform the primary contact role for our customers, as their main source of integration support. You are expected to become a customer champion, ensuring that we deliver for our customers ontime, everytime. You will manage customers through the established test procedures and processes for getting them connected to our live betting and horse racing systems, as well as preparing for and testing updates to our offerings.

You will be working closely with developers to undertake manual systems testing, write test scripts and maintain and execute automated scripts. Adhoc customer support will also be part of your responsibility.

Core Skills

You should be well on the path to becoming a project manager by now, but perhaps need some more time on the job before making that step! This role may also suit someone coming from a testing background looking to get into project support.

  • Experience in managing timelines and deliverables for a technical project.
  • Understand and have experience in technical testing and the process of moving developed code through testing to live.
  • A real passion for supporting customers and good communication skills to enable you to converse with them effectively.
  • Be confident in taking ownership of delegated tasks and engaging with the end client.
  • Have good organisation skills.
  • Able to produce basic project documentation including maintaining accurate project logs, having worked with MS Project (or similar) and bug tracking/ticketing systems.
  • Initiative to learn new skills without continued management direction.
  • Able to support projects whilst Project Manager out of office.
  • Ambition and drive to succeed in all tasks.
  • Experience in testing websites and reporting test results.

Desirable Skills

Not everyone can fulfil every skill requirement. In conjunction with the above, the following would also be of great assistance in securing your position at i-neda.

  • Have previously worked in a betting or horse racing environment.
  • PRINCE 2 Foundation certification(or equivalent).
  • IT related certification.
  • MY SQL database basic knowledge.
  • 1st/2.1 degree
